Deanna Pacheco says "Welcome to Riverview School!"
This year the staff at Riverview School will be focusing on Literacy, Numeracy and Success for All. Literacy is a main goal of our school as we realize the importance of assuring
all students have a concrete foundation for learning. We have Literacy Teachers who are responsible for providing ‘at the elbow professional
development’ for all teachers. This ensures a balanced literacy program is implemented in all of our classrooms. We also have a dynamic Special Education Resource Team who is
responsible for ensuring learning success for all students at Riverview.
Riverview School has a positive, enthusiastic team which provides many opportunities for students to succeed through academics, extra-curricular sports
and other activities.
Riverview School has an excellent reputation for providing a well rounded education for students of all ages.
If you would like more information regarding Riverview School, Deanna Pacheco
Administration offices are located in the east wing of the school on ground level, and can be
accessed easily by entering through the east wing entry doors or from the Davis Street main doors. The main doors bring you into the central
foyer which separates the east and west wings of the school.
Please note: All KPDSB elementary schools have an "outdoor footwear removal policy" upon entering
the buildings. Be prepared to take that outside footwear off by bringing your inside shoes! Remember, this policy helps to keep our floors, and our students' socks, clean and dry!

Principal Riverview School
Home of the Riverview Lions
Our VP is Kelly Schollie. Kelly was Special Education SAT for KPDSB prior to becoming VP at Riverview.
Kelly Schollie is full time Vice-Principal.
Debbie Kamm is Riverview School secretary. Mrs. Kamm has just joined the Riverview team and is looking forward to getting to know everyone. Mrs. Kamm brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge and will be a great asset to Riverview. She puts bandaids on "hurts", finds the right forms when needed, listens to complaints and finds missing students amongst a million other things. Riverview would not be the same without her!
