    Mrs. Alison Allen and Mrs. Janet Bembeneck have been hired to provide free tutoring for those students seeking additional help with their assignments. FREE tutoring will be offered at different times in order to be available to as many students as possible. Each student must have a note from their parent indicating that they have parental permission to participate in the program. Students must bring the work they need help/support with. They must be ready and willing to participate in the program. Parents must be here promptly at the end of the session to pick up the student. We are very excited to be offering this wonderful opportunity to our students and we hope to see many of our students taking advantage of this opportunity.

    Parents, teachers, Grade 8 students and community members are welcome to attend School Council meetings held once a month. Check with the office for time and date.

         Welcome to Riverview School, a Keewatin-Patricia District School Board elementary school of excellence located in Dryden.

    Dryden is located in North Western Ontario's Sunset Country.

         At Riverview School, students are welcomed into our Riverview family and are invited to experience a balanced learning environment which includes a healthy mix of academics and sports.

         Riverview School had its debut in March of 1956. The first classes came through its doors then. Our Riverview school community celebrated our 50th birthday in 2006. A big party took place Thursday, March 9th, 2006. Past and present students, teachers, administrators and community members were invited to visit and share in our special day with us. Of course because this was our birthday there was cake and even entertainment! If you missed this event you missed a great time.
